Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DropSauce Android application ("DropSauce", "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The app

DropSauce is a free, open-source manga reader for Android that lets you organize a personal library, track your reading, and optionally sync your data to your own Google Drive. The app is provided to you at no cost.

2. No content provided by DropSauce

DropSauce does not host, provide, supply, or distribute any manga, comics, or other media content. The application itself ships with no built-in content. Any content you view is provided by external online sources that you choose and add yourself.

The developer of DropSauce is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any content provider, source, or rights holder. DropSauce is only a tool for reading and organizing content from sources you supply.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Google Drive sync

The optional sync feature stores your library data in your own Google Drive account. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's own terms and policies. How the app handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

5. Open-source license

DropSauce is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). Your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software are governed by that license, the full text of which is available with the source code. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you under the GPLv3.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data (including synced data) will never be lost. You use the app at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of DropSauce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to the app and these Terms

The developer may modify, update, or discontinue the app at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
